تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے ہمیں مارنے کے بعد زندہ کیا اور اسی کی طرف اٹھ کر جانا ہے۔
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the return.
Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya
اے اللہ! تیرے نام کے ساتھ ہی میں مرتا اور جیتا ہوں۔
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith
اے اللہ! میں ناپاک جنوں اور جنیوں سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils.
Ghufranak
(اے اللہ) میں تیری بخشش چاہتا ہوں۔
I seek Your forgiveness.
Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
اللہ کے نام سے، میں نے اللہ پر بھروسہ کیا، اور اللہ کے بغیر نہ کوئی طاقت ہے نہ قوت۔
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala rabbina tawakkalna
اللہ کے نام سے ہم داخل ہوئے اور اللہ کے نام سے ہم نکلے اور اپنے رب پر ہم نے بھروسہ کیا۔
In the name of Allah we enter, in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi kasani hadha wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah
تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے مجھے یہ پہنایا اور میری کسی طاقت اور قوت کے بغیر مجھے عطا کیا۔
All praise is for Allah who clothed me with this and provided it for me without any might or power from me.
Allahumma anta hassanta khalqi fahassin khuluqi
اے اللہ! تو نے میری صورت اچھی بنائی، میرے اخلاق بھی اچھے کر دے۔
O Allah, You have made my form beautiful, so make my character beautiful.
Alhamdulillah — (reply) Yarhamukallah — (answer) Yahdikumullahu wa yuslihu balakum
چھینکنے والا کہے: الحمد للہ۔ سننے والا کہے: اللہ تم پر رحم کرے۔ چھینکنے والا جواب دے: اللہ تمہیں ہدایت دے اور تمہارا حال درست کرے۔
The sneezer says: All praise is for Allah. The listener says: May Allah have mercy on you. The sneezer replies: May Allah guide you and set your affairs right.
Allahumma sayyiban nafi'a
اے اللہ! نفع دینے والی بارش برسا۔
O Allah, (make it) a beneficial rain.
A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim
میں شیطان مردود سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
Allahumma ahillahu 'alayna bil-yumni wal-iman was-salamati wal-islam, rabbi wa rabbukallah
اے اللہ! اس چاند کو ہم پر برکت، ایمان، سلامتی اور اسلام کے ساتھ طلوع فرما، (اے چاند) میرا اور تیرا رب اللہ ہے۔
O Allah, bring it over us with blessing, faith, safety and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'a, wa rizqan tayyiba, wa 'amalan mutaqabbala
اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے نفع دینے والا علم، پاکیزہ رزق اور قبول ہونے والا عمل مانگتا ہوں۔
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision and accepted deeds.
La ba'sa tahurun in sha' Allah
کوئی حرج نہیں، ان شاء اللہ (یہ بیماری گناہوں سے) پاک کرنے والی ہے۔
No harm, it is a purification, if Allah wills.
Ya muqallibal-qulub, thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik
اے دلوں کو پھیرنے والے! میرے دل کو اپنے دین پر ثابت رکھ۔
O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.
